Taiwan Style Black Milk Tea
In this Special Edition, Twrl has collaborated with the Taiwanese American Federation of Northern California, a community coalition of Taiwanese Americans, and Taiwanese American illustrator Eugenia Yoh on a special edition of their best-selling Taiwan-Style Black Milk Tea.
The design features the Formosan Black Bear and iconic architecture of Taiwan. The partnership was forged by their shared passion for multi-generational community building and commitment to elevating Taiwan’s international profile. A better, more resilient world is possible when we work together towards meaningful global “inclusive-tea.”

I love this milk tea! It doesn't taste canned AT ALL, and it's somehow creamy without any dairy. Twrl is truly a great substitute for a "real" milk tea. I also like that it doesn't have nearly as much sugar so I don't feel bad about drinking one!

Milk tea in a can? This was a first and it was so good! Makes me feel even better when I can remember that all of this is vegan and good for me. Really a great substitute for those sugary and syrupy milk teas at the boba shops and really pairs well with the Brown Sugar Boba they also sell at TWRL. Love it !

Taipei 101 is the tallest skyscraper in Taiwan. Formosan Black Bear / Taiwan Black Bear
The Formosan Black Bear, with its distinctive white collar, is endemic to Taiwan, and is often used as a mascot for the island nation. Unfortunately, despite an increased aesthetic profile and its protected status since 1989, the species is near extinction due to decades of illegal hunting, land development, and poaching. The Formosan Black Bear reminds us of our indigenous peoples’ wisdom in revering and respecting the natural world, and our responsibility now to safeguard those that are vulnerable and precious.
Pingxi Lantern Festival / Taiwan Tradition
The PIngxi Sky Lantern Festival is a magical experience for friends and family. You light your lantern, and watch as it floats up into the sky. You write a message on the outside of your lantern, with your name and hopes and wishes, which are carried up into the heavens. Also called Shangyuan Festival, is a traditional festival celebrated on the fifteenth day of the first month in the lunisolar Chinese calendar, during the full moon.
Zhupu Alter / Keelung
The Zhupu Alter is an important folk memorial place in Keelung. The main altar building is three stories high and condescending. It can overlook most of the Keelung area. Every year on the fifteenth day of the seventh lunar month, the lighting ceremony here will also decorate the main altar beautifully.
